New Pact at Voltronics (3/2/10)

RWDSU members at Voltronics Corporation in Denville, NJ, have a ratified a new three-year contract. The Local 262 members, who make electronics components such as diodes, capacitors, and relays, will see wage gains and benefit improvements over the course of the contract.

In addition to wage gains of 3 percent the first year, 4 percent the second year, and 4.25 percent in the third year, there will be increases in the life insurance, pension, prescription drug program, dental, and optical benefits. Protecting health care benefits was a top priority of the negotiating committee, and benefits will remain unchanged and protected over the life of the contract.
